MYTHOS
Virtually all of Falkner's work interacts in one form or another, meaning that characters, locales, events, and concepts can - and often do - overlap.
Some of the works that fall into the Delving Mythos are listed below.
The Feast of Catchville
Released by Stone Garden Publishing in 2006,
The Feast of Catchville
introduced readers to Helman Graff in book form for the very first time. Prior to the horror novella's release, Graff had been the subject of three short stories published in
Adventure Fiction Magazine
- an ezine specializing in adventure-based pulp tales.
The Feast of Catchville
told the story of how two university professors and a handful of small town residents attempted to survive a blizzard in the tiny town of Catchville, Wisconsin.
Whilst the small party hid away in the confines of Catchville's tavern, something roamed outside in the white night, threatening to devour them one by one.
In the timeline of the Delving Mythos, the events of
The Feast of Catchville
occur shortly before the events of
Delving: Obligations.
